RGB Music RENGA / Ciper Images: 999 Views of Skyscrapers from Great Lawn in Central Park New York City, Summer 2009

RGB Music RENGA is an algorithmic composition made from image data by Web application. It creates continuing short compositions from a series of photographs like RENGA poems. RENGA is continuing short and collaborative poetry in Japan. The Web application reads RGB value of pixels from the top left to the bottom right of an image horizontally. One pixel makes three notes of sounds, and the length of note is determined by high or low value of the pixel.

Photographs are face blurred images for privacy concerns. The encrypted original images are shown the right column of the image. If you have a decrypt key, you can see non-face blured images. If you do not you must wait until 22nd century.
